Re: [council] TOTALLY INCORRECT Information about CENTR
hello all
as chair of CORE i would like to inform the council that the recent
"Netinvestor"
article article referred to in previous e-mail is not totally in error.
we at CORE have recently decided to re-double our efforts in the organ
recovery
business in a true global outreach.
we are in the process of initiating a comprehensive program which encourages
all of our members to canvass old churches, coleges, schools, music
conservatorys and private homes in an attempt to locate and salvage any old
and unused organs.
we are concentrating primarily on pipe organs but also have our eyes out for
pump organs as well.
we have also entered into a program whereby many of our members have agreed
to accept these organs in trade for partial credit towards registration of
domain names.
both citicorp and UBS have agreed to assist in this effort and establish a
joint network of "organ banks" and the DAICHI
bank is looking into this project as well.
we are also encouraging any person who has an organ in their home to sign an
organ donor card which will help clarify their wishes in case of their
demise or divorce
(property settlement ...)
we are eagerly looking forward to the full co-operation of CENTR in this
project and anticipate a strong lobbying effort from all of their members
for this worthwhile endeavor. hopefully CENTRE members will get behind this
effort in a big way & have available "organ donor cards" in their respected
administrator's offices and encourage their registrars to involve
themselves in this worthwhile endeavor ???
sigh........
