Re: [council] GA Chair election procedure
I think it is a matter for the GA to say how it wishes to determine who it
will nominate for the positions of GA Chair and CoChair. I have no strong
views on this. However, it was my understanding that the GA wished to elect
a nominee. If the GA can agree on a fair and open election process, I have
no problem with this. However if this is not practical (or required), I am
also quite happy for the GA to nominate a range of nominees for
consideration by the NC for appointment to the GA Chairs positions.
