RE: [council] REQUEST FROM gTLD REGISTRY CONSTITUENCY
I have a different but important proposal. I think that the chair and
alternate chairs of the GA need to be added. They can be a productive part
of our dialogue, and in addition, were asked to manage a process within the
GA by the NC.
Let's give them the same courtesy we all have; having both lets them share
the time commitment and if one isn't available, then probably the other can
be. This will be both helpful to the GA, I'm sure, but in addition, it
genuinely supports the role of the GA as part of the DNSO,and therefore
benefits the NC itself.
Regards, Marilyn

fellow NC members
due to the "last minute" scheduling of this conference call and the
essential importance of this issue , i feel that there is no reason to deny
this request. the council had no opportunity for deliberation and i believe
it would be in the best interest of the council to have access by these
parties to the discussions.
