Dear Council,

 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Roger Cochetti for his over three years of personal service to the DNSO (and later GNSO) Names Council.  Roger's term on the Council expired on February 28th.  Roger has not only seen ICANN go through a revolutionary reform, but has also seen the Registry Constituency expand from one member to nine and has been instrumental in that expansion process.  He has served the Registry Constituency and the Council as well as any person could have and we all owe him our deepest thanks.  We look forward to his continued participation in the policy process.

 

As of March 1st, the gTLD Registry Constituency has elected me to serve on the GNSO Council (as well as continue in my duties as Registry Constituency Chair)until the end of the ICANN Annual Meeting this year.  I look forward to working with all of you and to being a productive member of the Council.
