I don't know Marilyn.  Didn't you oppose any TLD expansion on behalf
of your company?

It seems to me that the only frustration I've seen from the IP
constituency members is when they found something they couldn't
control the outcome of.

Do they really want to improve understanding, or do they just seek
"understanding" as a means to "influence" the other constituency reps
into siding with them on substantive issues?

Pardon the suspicion, but the IP industry participating in ICANN
hasn't exactly engendered a real sense of trust, openness,
understanding, or willingness to seek compromise, since they started
participating.
