You're right, there aren't any (formal) qualifications.
It was done this way so that I could pass the test ;>)
People may though have their ideal profile of GA Chair.
I think that independence from the constituencies may be a proper thing to
ask. That means almost automatically independence from the NC.
Maybe good to make sure that we have somebody that will present to the NC
the GA's position, but open to dialogue, rather than considering open fight
the only option. But I am speaking as individual, not as Chair.
