The problem here is the method in which candidates are allowed to
be declared. I am of an open declaration process where anyone can
run for election. Others were not, yet there seems to be a desire
for such a process.

Yes, we do have Danny and Patrick. And that's ok I suppose... However
I am not in agreement with you with respect to desiring a clone of Roberto,
even though I often agree with him on many issues.

The latter is preferable at this juncture, however very difficult to achieve
given the "Agenda Gap" to which these two fellows seem to subscribe
to vs the wishes of the GA members desire.
