If history can teach us anything it is that when the first freedoms are attacked
they are usually removed under some guise of necessity (like austerity).  Then
they are not replaced and another infringement on freedom soon follows.  Until
we do not have the method or the freedom to challenge the taking of more
freedom.

When looking at the archives and discussions relevant to the ga-full - it was a
compromise for the infringment upon the freedom of speech resulting from
monitoring (censoring and banning) Now that compromise is being threatened under
the guise of austerity, neither one that big of deal by themselves. But add it
also to the splitting of the lists and Patricks method of using them and it
becomes a very big deal. Add to it the deleting of voting rights if your taxes
are not paid (poll-tax in the southern states of the U.S. and the cutting off of
constituencies rights to vote) and now you have a REALLY BIG PROBLEM!

I ask at this time that the Chair look at the balance of the list monitors and
satisfy himself based upon history if it is a fair representative group. At this
point I support all but one.
