The ICANN DNSO GA is moving toward an unprecedented consnsensus vote on
condeming the release of dotBIZ. The motion has gathered support and is
sure to pass if only the GA can actually get it onto some kind of voting
mechanism.

It seems that the same problems plaguing the IETF are left behind in the
DNSO GA. There is a lack of representativeness bottoms-up in the
process.

Very hard work by Joanna, Jeff, Mr. Lovell and outgoing chair Harald has
produced an environment where the new rules are likely to take effect.
If the GA actually formulates a process for determination of issues it
could change the face of the Internet.

While little is said of the leadership styles of Mr. Younger and Mr.
Corliss the proof is in the pudding, something is smoldering in the GA
and it smells very good, for the stakeholder.
