Re: [ga] Is it any wonder Verisign is trying to block customers leaving?
William,
Just a little work with you on wording of financial matters. No one else
said that alt.roots are *the* market force but rather *a* market force.
But that is not really properly put either. Market forces simply means
something akin to supply and demand. Sometimes it is a "if you build it
they will come scenario" and sometimes "they are beating at your door". In
Amazons case there is a lengthy time of loss with expectations of large
future ROI. Verisigns losses for a quarter are a pinpoint and exact
logical argument regarding market forces (of course they could of lost all
that money by R&D for a better transfer engine ;-} )
Simply yelling that it does not and attacking me as illogical does not get
you out of the box you have built for yourself.
Further evidence of your false logic is found in the fact that Verisign is
now in the alt.root reseller game. They did not do that to help fund the
GA, they did it because, (that which you do not understand) *market forces*
"forced" them into it.
Now if there are absolutely no forces behind these names why is Verisign
selling them?
