Re: [ga] Domain names as observed (was Tucows Response to Cochet tiTransfer Letter)
Leah and all assembly members,
We [INEGroup] disagree with your opinion as doe several recent
legal decisions regarding Domain Name owners and whether Domain
Names are property of a type or not. As they can be Trademarked
is another good indication of the fact that they are property.
See a interesting case today: http://www.newsbytes.com/news/01/167543.html
Headline: HARRODS WINS DOMAIN NAME CASE
And there have been many many more similar cases posted to this
very ML on a number of occasions. (See archives for further Info)
