  Well in brief, yes this is correct.  However it should be understood that
Both David Conrad and Geoff Huston are also well known "Brown Nosers"
of the ICANN BoD and staff and that David Conrad in particular is a
well known antagonist of those that prefer or desire New TLD's and
Independent and COmpetitive Root and registry structures.

  This also does not explain Jaap Akkerhui, Sebastien Bachollet, and
Roberto Laorden are on this until now, convened committee.  Nor
how, and under what osmoses such a committee was determined...

  It's looking like a political end around or white wash...
