BIND is supposed to be a light-weight process. That is why it works.
Throwing this additional load in the trasaction could load it beyond
scalability. In fact and in general, the idea doesn't scale.

You sstill don't have to have a centralized service. In fact, it isn't
cetralised now and it works, for various definitions of "works".
