To follow on with this discussion and now seemingly rapidly becoming
a debate, I tend to agree with Leah here, as I believe most of our
members do as well. It seems however with the ALSC Final Report
draft that Dave has made a good observation in potentially concluding
that the ALSC Final Report Draft would essentially be advocating
that the At-Large would replace the DNSO as only Domain Name
Holders/owners can be members of the At-Large as indicated
in the draft from the ALSC.
This than seems to ba a bizarre approach at restructuring of ICANN
that would leave the vast majorities of stakeholders out of the
picture and at the same time potentially eliminating the DNSO for
who knows what reason, other than possibly Mike Roberts suggestion
made in his paper he submitted on the DNSO.
