Re: [ga] Outreach/Multilingualism and Finance (wg-review results)
In case anyone doubts the bona fides of the TOKTEN project, a
web search on the term produces many, many involved countries,
and chief among the sites noted is http://www.unv.org/, wherein
"unv" means "United Nations Volunteers." Another informative
site is http://www.unv.org/about/undp.htm, wherein "undp" is
"United Nations Development Programme."
However, Eric's explanation of how that model is to be
followed in another project that is evidently to be given
to ICANN or the GA, or what company has expended
$100k on "it," or what the Internet Cafe has to do with any
of that, is less than clear. So please explain, Eric, from the
ground up, so we'll know what's going on. What is "it?"
What specifically would it do?
(Danny's web site is certainly a step in the right direction,
but it is also clearly a work in progress -- alphabetically
by .XX country designations, the active links end at .IL
(Israel).)
