FYI:

This WORM_BADTRANS.B virus is indeed out and about; I received it this morning.
What I do is this:
1) Forward the email to uce@ftc.gov, which is the Federal Trade Commission;
2) Delete the email having the attachment.
3) Delete the "sent" message by which I forwarded that email.
4) Empty the trash.
5) Watch for the email coming in from the FTC which says that what I had just
forwarded to them had a virus in it; the FTC email identifies the virus.
6) File the FTC email, so I have a permanent record of the viruses I've received.

What I don't ever do, of course, is open the attachment. Any strange email that
says some file x has been converted into a file y has a virus in the attachment.
