The language used by Eric was indeed a bit less inappropriate than 
the (even indirect) comparison someone else just made between Mr. 
Cerf and Adolf Hitler.  But that doesn't make it acceptable.

Alexander's job as the list monitor is to ensure that those who are 
not able to stick to some elementary rules of respect and good 
manners (plus some more specific rules such as the posting limit, 
upon which the GA agreed earlier) do not get an opportunity to 
misbehave on this list.

It's really that simple: Behave, and you won't have problems with 
either Alexander or myself, regardless of whether or not you like 
ICANN, the at-large membership, or alternate roots.  Misbehave, and 
you get warned. Misbehave repeatedly, and you get kicked out of this 
list for some time.
