[ga] Re: [ncdnhc-discuss] UN and .un
Jamie and all,
Yes this was discussed about two years ago I believe. I am glad to see
that such and idea has been revisited however. A .UN TLD would be
most appropriate IMHO. But I have a few questions as to its creation
and dispensation.
1.) Would such a .UN TLD be strictly non-commercial? Or should it
be?
2.) Will ICANN be wanting to have another lottery process or bid process
with a $35 - $50k processing and application that is non-refundable
for potential Registries to manage such a TLD?
3.) Will there be Domain Name registration restrictions against sexually
oriented domain names in such a .UN name space?
