William X. Walsh is exactly correct.  Going even further, neither do you
"own" the "IP" in a different
meaning, i.e., the Internet Protocol number(s) to which domain names point.
 That interaction is a 
purely technical issue, and ICANN should never have stuck its globby head
beyond that into any IP 
(Intellectual Property) rights issues. What it did do need not be
recited again here, but it has to do 
with money.
