The problems with making this (the selling and resolving of DNS Services) a
free market type solution, is that registrars and their registry friends
will go out of business, just like all other competitive businesses, and
today this would be fatal for that registry's paid customers and that of the
registrars. Especially since ICANN has no plans about to do in this case.
