ADNS Unveils new Automated Registration Tools on redesigned
Website
I am pleased today to present you with the new ADNS website!
http://www.adns.net
Many of you have contacted us and asked us to make the
registration and domain management process more streamlined
and automated. I hope you'll agree that we have accomplished
that to a great extent.
In January, ADNS embarked on a project to create a shared
registry system called The Inclusive Namespace Registry
System (INRS for short) that would link registrars (the
domain name registration retailers), registries (the
people who operate TLDs like .BIZ and .USA) and domain
registration customers like yourself together. This
system provides for an automated registration experience
that is both quick and accurate.
Each registrant in INRS has a unique userID and password
that allows access to the INRS tools. Some of these
tools are:
* Register New Domains
* Renew the registration terms of existing
domains.
* Change your Name server settings.
* Look up domains in the new WORLDWIDE
INRS WHOIS database.
* View your past ADNS invoices.
* Change your account information such as
contact name, address, phone number, email,
etc.
* Create a new INRS account if you dont have
one.
There is no charge to have or maintain an INRS account or use
the INRS tools - its part of what you get when you register
domains with ADNS or any other INRS accredited registrar.
In other news, ADNS was chosen by AtlanticRoot Network, the
operator of the .BIZ, .COM2, .NOT, .ETC, and .ONLINE TLDs
to operate the registry for these TLDs. They are all
fully integrated into INRS. ADNS is ALSO a retailer for
these TLDs as well - as you can see if you go to the Register
New Domains screen.
Finally, ADNS customers have their own private e-mail list:
ADNS-CUSTOMERS. You can join this list by visiting the URL
http://lair.lionpost.net/mailman/listinfo/adns-customers
There isnt much monthly traffic on the list, so it wont
clog your mailbox, but is a good forum for folks to discuss
domain-related matters.
Very soon, ADNS will be joining with other Inclusive Namespace
retailers and registries on marketing efforts to get more
folks to leave the corrupt world of ICANN and switch to
the freedom of The Inclusive Namespace. ICANN has no power
to control what DNS settings people use on their computers and
as of today, estimates show that between 12% and 30% of people
have abandoned the ICANN root servers and are now using
alternative nameservers.
I look forward to seeing all of you on the list!
