69% of respondents say they have changed their cellular telephone usage -
while 31% haven't changed their telephone habits.

One responded that he is avoiding cellular telephones as he does not want to be available at all times.

Three major research outfits agree that online travel bookings are up 70% in the first six months of 2002 versus 2001. Online revenues powered ahead 70%. The biggest winner was Packaging ahead a scorching 140%. 

Cellular connections to the Internet are just beginning to hit some serious numbers with more than 10 Million North Americans now reading eMail and/or surfing the Net from a cell phone. Another cellular fact: Folks are abandoning their home landline and living with a cell phone ONLY - now 3% of the population.

Travel Business Roundtable's new study confirms what we all have suspected. Air travelers after September 11th have decided that air travel is a 'hassle' and if they have to fly, they will book online and fly cheap. There has been a 45% increase in online booking; now with 32% of all travelers using low-cost, online booking services. Another study by Travelocity found that 19% of Americans are reducing their air travel.
