[ga] 203 Days and Still no reply from Dan Halloran

Title: Help

On 5th April I sent a lengthy and serious message to Dan Halloran, which expressed specific concerns about registry and registrar failures, and the need for ICANN to take action to protect consumers. I had spent a great deal of time researching my facts, and my points were made rationally and required a response.

On 12th May I sent a further mail to Dan Halloran, listing serious concerns and questions in 7 sections, about registrar abuse of ICANN/Registry agreements, about ICANN accreditation procedures, and about the need to pre-empt further abuse in the .info LR2, having seen the way the .biz2B had been exploited by certain registrars to the disadvantage of ordinary consumers.

It is now a staggering 203 days that I have been waiting for an acknowledgement, any acknowledgement, from Dan Halloran that he has received my correspondence.

I am left assuming that ICANN as a policy just ignores questions and concerns if they are awkward.

I am left with the view that ICANN is unaccountable and simply evades issues that are raised if they want to.

I am left regarding their promises to be "more responsive" (made to DoC) as a sham.

Given the serious and clearly-expressed nature of my concerns, sent and re-sent to Dan Halloran countless times, published in full on this list, published also at ICANNWatch, also published on ICANN's public forum : is it not dismaying that Dan Halloran feels he is "above" even responding with a one-liner to me? I have repeatedly asked him to reply. He has clearly made a conscious decision NOT to.

How much longer will he treat the ordinary public with contempt?

Why should the At Large community take these kind of people seriously?

Sincerely,

Richard Henderson
