Declan and all,

  I suggest you review some of John's comments in ICANN related
forums, not defunct as well as even before ICANN was in existence
before making such declarations.

  In respect to the terrorism aspect, many of us have been fighting
terrorism sense the '70's...  I respect John's not change of
position regarding his unfortunate position, none the less it is
still a change of position to a very great degree...

for some more demonstrated and particular comments
regarding John's than (3 or so years ago) positions
on privacy...
