So what? All the alt.roots support/recognize them. This is called a *FACT*.

>The rogue roots

So who exactly is putting these words in your head? RFC2826 does not define
which root you should use. All roots exist, individually, in compliance
with RFC2826 unless *YOU* choose to resolve two or more of them. Of course,
those are just *FACTs*.

So you don't acknowledge the work of Jon Postel and the IANA. Some of these
TLDs in alt.roots have IANA's permission to exist. A *FACT*.

What disturbs me the most here is this:

Why does a "potential user" have more rights than an actual user?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

>infiltration and theft of the name space as being for the greater good

Let me get this straight, for following the direct instructions of Jon
Postel, and for working on Draft Postel with IANA's full knowledge (along
with my own drafts published to complement Draft Postel), I am to be
condemned as a criminal? This totally defies logic.

The bottom line here is that someone covets what someone else has, and is
willing to do anything to take it away. For the greater good of the
majority, and their bank balance, of course. This is exactly the mentality
that has caused wars to be fought and thousands of people to die. Another
documented *FACT*.

But you don't seem to want to do that. How long have you even had an
opinion on this subject? 3 months? 6 months? You're only one keystroke away
from a <plonk>.
