Harald and all,
I agree that and organizing committee is a great idea. The members
of such a committee need to be elected however so as to provide
for adequate independence of the committee.
As for funding for the secretariat, it seems that the effort that Danny
was supposed to engage in with the ICANN BoD has not been
fruitful in gaining funding for the GA and potentially the secretariat
function. Lets hope that this can be rectified in the very near future.
