Re: [ga-udrp] the UDRP
I would also appreciate your effort to produce that list. I'd like to know
what authority Registrars have been given to decide on their own to give a
domain name to a tm holder thirty days after it's registration, and not from
the one who registered the name but from the next person who obtained the
name after that. Kind of a second generation jump to take it away from
someone who bought the name from someone who registered the expired name and
give it to the tm holder who let it expire.
Understand I am not arguing for or against who is rigjht or who is wrong in
this case. IMHO the TM Holder has acted badly from my knowledge of this
case, including some unwarranted harrassment of uninvolved individuals and
conspiring with others to make offers on the domain name to entice the
registrant to agree to sell it.
So please produce any info helpful to us in trying to understand how these
things can happen and why someone is allowed to manipulate the system in
this way.
