Re: [ga] Since nobody in authority wants to announce it...
Dear Michael and all:
( I say the next words using the world "cry" just to do a literate comparation (simil? sp!)
not as a critic to the rigth of Michael or other to express whatever they want in the way they want. Freedom
of expresion and the rigth to "cry" is always a must in a democratic list)
hummm... if we have 3 seats on the PSO and there is 1 European, 1 American, 1 Asian, then we will
cry for the Latin and Africa seats...
if we have the seats ocupied by 2 Europeans and 1 Asian... we wil cry about the European takeover...
if we have 1 Asian, 1 African and 1 Latin in the seats the we will start to cry about how ISOC
and Core has hidden their identitys trough their chapters and members in those countries... or it would
be a takeover by the third world ????
Too much talking about an election. My point is that the process can be wrong but until the process
is shown as wrong and corrected the process IS the way to elect, and the results of the votes are
mandatory, and the elected people is not responsible of how bad or good are the rules to elect.
If we dont like a system we have to change it. Crying or shouting that there is a hidden monster (ISOC CORE)
dont help. Lets build, not destroy what others are building.
.. back to work...
