Hi Dan,
	Having your main email account as a @vrx.net type email account
under the current situation at vrx.net is as sound business practice as
choosing to send mail from a RBL-ed system, which in fact, come to think of
it, is not that different from choosing to post from a non-IANA/ICANN TLD.

People who filter based on RBL have decided that it is an unfortunate loss
to miss out on the legitimate emails, but as the signal to noise ratio is
that bad, it's acceptable (in other words, the time lost because of missed
messages pays itself ten-fold because of the time gained thanks to the
filtering).
vrx deserves the same type of filtering as RBL as the noise ratio is through
the roof. It would be very sad to lose out on you because of this, however
note that what will get filtered are your outbound messages (from you to the
world), not your inbound messages (from the world to you), so it probably
would be wise for you to start looking around for some stable and durable
email system... Please take this for what it's worth: friendly, good-wishing
