A look at http://www.nunames.nu/ISO-8859-test.htm indicates that the
poster's concerns appear to be justified.  "Known problems" include
compatibility issues with certain popular operating systems and Web
browsers, and two large Swedish ISPs' failure to resolve the names at all.
