I think you must have this Eric confused with another.
"Fair and even handed" ?
Sorry, Joanna, but that one doesn't fly. His own posts will evidence
that. Read the archives.
Just because someone has made some constructive posts is not a basis
for saying they have the necessary leadership qualities to chair the
GA. The balance of their exhibited behavior, not to mention the
stated commitment to similar actions in the future (which shows that
there is in fact no real remorse over those initial actions),
definitely overshadow anything else.
He can be a constructive member of the GA, and constructively offer
his proposals without being the GA Chair, a position for which he is
clearly unsuited.
