Perhaps, but I don't think that will happen. I believe, and so far
the documents have supported this, that the move to a restricted .org
TLD has been an important part of the the talk over spinning off .org.
It would not surprise me at all if Verisign's people first floated it,
either.
I honestly do not think that there will accrue any benefits to having
.org spun off now, anyway.
