Good point Sotiris! There is a small pizza place around the corner from my
house named "Olympic Pizza". I highly doubt that they would be allowed to
register "olympicpizza.com" from NSI. (Not to mention the fight from the
Olympics committee).... Meanwhile, you have people registering names like
"americanexpress.net" and "attwireless.com" being bought from NSI without
any problem. Generic words are not "property" and nobody has any god-given
"right" to use these terms. This is why so many individuals and
small-businesses are becoming disillusioned with ICANN. And the "Sunrise
Proposal" is not going to help.
