Okay here goes. I move that the General Assembly set up the following
dedicated mailing lists (can be voted on separately).
1) A WIPO mailing list (ga-wipo@dnso.org) to discuss the third interim
report of the second WIPO Internet Domain Name Process.
The WIPO report is wide reaching with recommendations dealing with
personal names, Pharmaceutical INNs, international inter-governmental
organisations, geographical names and tradenames.
2) A DNSO Review mailing list (ga-review@dnso.org) to continue
discussion on ways to improve the structure and functioning of the
DNSO
3) An alternative roots mailing list (ga-altroots@dnso.org) to provide
a specific forum for the subject in terms of what bearing if any they
have on ICANN
And finally a piece of trivia - did anyone else know that world
intellectual property day is 26 April :-)
