Hans Kraaijenbrink: "ICANN is a corporation, not a society or association". (ALSC meeting in Melbourne). I need to explain it to some politics and press tomorrow. Could someone help with an another example I could use as a comparison: is there a known corporation with no owner and an open position managing a exclusive vital service for the world economy (the a-root) (with however may be a night shift one year from now)?
