Re: [ga] Austerity measures
Michael:
There are things that have to made known and are the huge amount of money
that we are paying to AFNIC to perfom technical support only.
There are things that Elizabeth do voluntarily but there are technical job
that I am sure she doesn't do (please correct me if I am wrong) regarding
mailing lists.
Hopefully a bid for Secretariat Services and Internet Services will be
opened soon. However, still we have to pay money to AFNIC until June 30.
Again, the amount of money payed to AFNIC is really huge and they have to
work. And now they are claiming that the work is very heavy which is
really not.
If DNSO already engaged from the budget a fixed amount of money to pay to
AFNIC until June 30, then which costs it will be reduced? Wil they give us
a discount if they just have to manage one or two mailing lists from here
to June 30? I don't think so. So then, they don't have any excuse to
create more mailing lists.
Best Regards
Vany
