FYI: VeriSign Wins Approval to Keep Control of Dot-Com Address List (Bloomberg) -- VeriSign Inc. won final U.S. approval to retain control of the database used for Internet addresses that end with ``dot-com'' until 2007. The Commerce Department said it approved a decision by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers to change a 1999 contract with Mountain View, California-based VeriSign. VeriSign shares rose $2.74 to $60.74.
