If I may paraphrase some of the earlier postings, "I often agree with Peter,
and this time makes no exception".

For instance, we asked people to limit to 5 post per day their contribution
to the GA (or other lists). This is to favour different POV, and favour
discussion.
If the effect of an administrative action from the monitors is causing a
multiplication of posts, and the corresponding loss of focus on other
issues, something is wrong.
But rather than starting yet another discussion on what is wrong, may I
suggest a way out?
The rules allow for the Chair to suspend a suspension (pun not intended):
this is not meant as "overturning a decision", but rather as "clemency"
action.
