Not to worry, this hearing will take place for us :)
Just part of the process to reign in the maverick ICANN for its refusal to
delegate or even recognize legitimate TLDs such as this .KIDS that has
existed for several years and is of course provided to the Global Internet
Community as a public service of The PacificRoot.
Nothing new here, ICANN either bows in dishonor and admits the TLDs we've
been carrying for years (.KIDS being one of them) or they continue to lose
market share as a deprecated system for DNS resolution.
The problem has to do with the colliders - meaining the ones introduced by
ICANN (.BIZ, for example).
But that solution has been worked out as well, Thanks to the public
suggestions by Karl Auerbach offering that there isn't any reason why
there can't be several root systems with colliding TLDs.
Although we DO NOT think this is okay, it is a reality, and the nice thing
about technology is that you use it to adapt to the way that things are.
ICANN has declared that they are only responsible for what is in their
root, and continuing on in that vein they have demonstrated to the world
that they thing it is okay to have multiple instances of TLDs emanating
from different sets of Authoritative TLD Servers. Actions speak louder
than words, and those are ICANN's actions.
Our words have been saying to you all that this is not okay, even though
as Karl Auerbach as pointed out on several occasions it presents no
problem whatsoever. Our Actions, however, say, "If that's the way you want
it, that's the way you'll get it ICANN."
Bear in mind that The PacificRoot and the TLD Holders for any of the
original, legitimate TLDs that ICANN has introduced colliders with "ARE
NOT" approved or sanctioned in any way by The PacificRoot. That having
been said, it is also general knowledge that The PacificRoot, as part of
it's mission, is to provide DNS resolution for ALL TLDs.
Although by directly upgrading your DNS you will not have to worry about
being directed to the unauthorized and what we consider illegitimate
colliders introduced by IANN, in keeping with our commitment in being the
root of choice for ISPs and users alike the world over, we found it
neccessary to offer the "choice" that many people may want to have with
regards to the collider issue.
The PacificRoot continues to gain worldwide acceptance and preference over
that of the Alternate, deprecated ICANN legacy system for this elementary
principle, and also continues to forge strategic Partner alliances with
other sensible organizations around the globe.
One of these Strategic alliances has produced the first and only browser
plug-in that enables the user themselves to make their own choices as to
which instance of a colliding SLD.TLD they wish to see. This plug-in
effectively corrects problems imposed by blocks, proxies, AOL
deficiencies, and other dificulties that the consumer may face due to the
security threats that ICANN has decided to introduce to the Internet.
The Plug-in also auto-upgrades itself via a live update like feature so
that ICANN can introduce as many colliders as they like and ALL TLDs will
still be supported.
Nothing really beats straight DNS and using the correct resolvers, but
this is a great solution for people who base their systems on Microsoft
Win32 Operating systems (All of them) and it easier to install than Real
Player - and we all know how easy that is :)
