Decided I would send Ms Hewitt an email..
maybe if the regular folk like myself let them know (individually) that we
are happy and plan on spending our money here instead of at ICANN authority
domains she may see the futuire and slowly decide to abandon the sinking
ship that is ICANN and consider her own self intrest might be better served
..serving the future of domains..New.Net ..

BID

BTW. after some consideration..went ahead and reg in-addr.auction..

MS Hewitt,

As a new.net customer I would ask that you at least take the time to look at
what New.Net is allowing us small fry to do and to recognize that the larger
corporation s are already recognizing the future of New.Net (whether ICANN
is their or not) you can browse and find all kinds of examples such as
this:http://www.new.net/search_whois.tp?domain=att&tld=inc

..Become active members of the internet with domain names that make sense.

In 1995 I underwent a doublelung transplant and have always wanted to start
a simple informative site about what one waiting for an transplant could
expect..

New.Net enabled me to provide a useful site with a domain that people would
actual have an idea of what the site would be before they even get to it..

I registered

http://Transplant.med

I started a Poster site for some extra cash

http://Poster.inc

I am working on a Kids site..

http://Booger.Kids

and a 20 some others others..

I am extremely happy that 70 million browsers can see New.Net domains with
out adding the new.net extension..their growth continues at a phenomenal
pace and 100 million browsers will be availble by years end..

Might I suggest that ICANN may very well find it self in the same boat as
Apple Computer when they insisted on not sharing their machinme code for
software developers ..

Microsoft ran over Apple because the market demands were not being met by
the tightnit -closed -minded -protective - greed laced -power control
approach of Apple.

Contrary to what advise is being sent your way by certain people..you may
want to consider that the mass of consumers always ends up winning.

It would be nice to have someone with your qualifications to recognize this
inevitability and join the New.Net community....

A Domain world that makes sense because thats where the massess are headed
and thats where the money is going..thats where my money is going... AT&T
seems to have no difficulty seeing the Market..

Thank You for your time...
Dan McCullough
