Now I know that the DNSO is a constituency of the ICANN and that
this list the GA of the DNSO is. But I would like you to consider the
following: it is obviously very difficult to be heard by the ICANN staff.
It is so difficult, that I believe the ICANN staff does nto want to hear
anything coming from outside of the inner circle.

For my sake, let the ICANN people do what they wand, because
they will anyway. This underlines the necessity of raising a totally
new organization on a real self-regulating basis. Some efforts have
been made in that direction (think about TLDA or RSCAC).

I consider the ICANN as a TLD-managing organization, which doesn't
whant to take other thinks in consideration, as what they want. So
the ICANN has no customers and looks almost like an
administration. It could be a sufficient solution for the US, but not for
the rest of the world.

I tend to look at the ICANN as one or the first of a bunch of
organizations sharing the . namespace. Let's make constructive
proposals, which give other people more influence on the internet and
let the ICANN do their business as usual.

Pascal
