Re: [ga] OBJECTION Re: Transfer TF elections
Quite right it does "seem" persuasive. Until you examine the underlying
premise. Perhaps I am mistaken but I cannot find any reference to the
rules that this premise requires to be persuasive. No rules for the
election of TF members, no rules for the determination of who shall be on
task forces from the GA. The closest we find is the rule as set forth
earlier today by our chair and it certainly is not persuasive to this
premise.
In fact it is persuasive in showing this argument to be what it is
Obstructionism.
(funny but this also shows the wrongness of TFs versus WG)
Eric
"open to all
who are willing to contribute effort to the work of the DNSO. The
participants in the GA should be individuals who have a knowledge of and
an
interest in issues pertaining to the areas for which the DNSO has primary
responsibility, and who are willing to contribute time, effort and
expertise
to the work of the DNSO, including work item proposal and development,
discussion of work items, draft document preparation, and participation
in
research and drafting committees and working groups."
