Re: [ga] Good Marketing

Eric and all assembly members,

If you will notice, most of the member companies, are just that, member
companies, not members of constituencies as in the ICANN Model.
You will also notice that these member companies are NOT strong
or in any way supporters of ICANN. Some of the member companies
of this organization are even strong opponents of ICANN publicly.

Given these and many other reasons it is not too difficult to
conclude why ICANN cannot, does not, or perhaps will not
ever achieve the marketability that projectliberyt.org amongst
a host of other similar organization has and will continue to
achieve.

The competition for both attention and market share of donations
or public and commercial interest is intense as has been shown recently
sense Sept. 11, with the Red Cross debacle. In that backdrop along
with the now long standing and growing lack of trust that the previous
and present ICANN BOD and staff has engendered in word and deed,
looking honorable now for ICANN is a steep up hill trek that thus far
has not been seriously attempted by that same ICANN BOD and staff...
