Here's a priceless quote from this deeply disturbing
article, make of it what you will:

"This legislation is badly needed because there are a
great many offshore sites that are sucking billions of
dollars from American households," said Rep. Bob      
Goodlatte, R-Va., who sponsored the bill."

I suppose the next thing the US Government will ban is
travel abroad for its citizens.  It's the logical
conclusion after this absurdity, after all, US tourism
abroad is liable to "suck billions of dollars from
American households"...
