Re: [ga] other approaches and concerns
Thanks George, and of course this is the archives of an (international)
E-Commerce discussion list, that has had a number of ICANN related
discussions over the past year, and follows also many other international
ecommerce issues, and has followed the ICANN governance issue for while.
Note also that the note included copies of various GA posts, on both sides
of the issue, including two from TR, expressing opposition to the motion.
Are other members of the GA permitted to talk about ICANN or GA issues
without a chaperone? Or would there be *any* basis for not allowing any of
these people to have voted, if they had actually wanted to? Many of them
are also active in several other ICANN mailing lists or belong to various
DNSO constituencies, such as the NCDNHC. Is telling people who follow
ICANN issues how to participate in ICANN governance matters inappropriate,
and if so why?
