Just because you have been unable to figure out how to register a
domain does not mean that .COM, or any other domain, is dead.

In fact if you look at the latest statistics compiled by State of the
Domain (https://www.sotd.info/) you will see that in August there
were 21,234,458 .COM domains registered.  More than 3 times all of the
other GTLDs combined -- hardly a sign that .COM is dead.

As with any claim you make you cannot provide a single credible piece
of information to back up the statement that ".COM is essentially
dead".  I mean, you could pose the question to the mythical
"Information Network Eng. Group." and see what they think, of course I
could also ask the Oracle at Delphi -- either way the answer would be
pure fiction.
