Re: [ga] The future of IDN in .ORG

Marc, and GA members:
Maybe something got lost in the translation. What was conveyed in English
is as below:

"Multi-script or "Internationalized Domain names"
"(IDN's) are a small portion of the overall .ORG domain. These names were
introduced some time ago but, due to technical limitations, have never been
in active use. The IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) has been working
to create a standard for IDN's, and Afilias is actively monitoring this
effort to be ready when the standard is released."

Afilias is evaluating various solutions, but will act in registrant's best
interests, while making sure that the DNS system remains stable.
