Control of what ? Adding a nameserver in the current root set, does
not change anything in that way, and does not give any less control at all.
The only thing (control) that means is the one of the A root-server.
The others are just copies ;-)

I believe that the current 13 nameservers existed far before ICANN.
So can you please stop putting all mysery in the world on ICANN's
shoulders ? This is really caricatural...
