Re: [ga] Reminder: ALAC looking for NomCom delegates

Do individual At Large members get to *VOTE* on who represents the At Large
on the NomCom?

When does the At Large movement become genuinely representative, and why is
there no democratic process in this "top down" initiative, which ICANN has
introduced to help 'legitimise' its 'reforms' - reforms which include the
expulsion of elected representatives of the At Large from the ICANN Board?

The At Large has been driven out of the Board Room and reduced to a marginal
'advisory' capacity.

This - along with the 'offer' of representation on the "NomCom" - is wholly
unacceptable...

...particularly as there is no individual vote and no democratic
representation.

Do individual At Large members get to *VOTE* on who represents them on the
NomCom?

NO.

Says it all.

Richard Henderson
