[ga] Minor correction re: SnapNames Patent Applications
In an earlier message, I had indicated that the critical date for prior
public use, sale, or publications relative to the SnapNames patent
applications was 1 November 2000.
Looking again at the application relating most closely to methods for
pinging the registry, and having had my attention pointed at this bit of
archive lore from October 2000:
http://web.archive.org/web/20001017205335/www.eyeondomain.com/expired_domain
_names.html
"This exclusive subscription service will let you monitor DOMAIN NAMES of
your choice - hands free, and will register those immediately should they
become available."
...I realized that I neglected to mention that one of the SnapNames
applications claims a priority date of 1 November 2000 based on a
provisional application filed on that date. So, without knowing the
invention date they might claim, or the sufficiency of the disclosure of the
1 November 2000 provisional application, the question at this point is what
may have been known as of 1 November 1999.
